There is no denying that Bathabile Dlamini and Jacob Zuma are as thick as thieves (excuse the pun).
Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini has defended and supported President Jacob Zuma to no end.
Here are five reasons why she is viewed as the president’s woman.
1. Zuma Day
Dlamini addressed the official Women’s Day event in Kimberley. She spoke more about Zuma than about issues facing women.
So much for being the leader of the ANC Women’s League.
Her speech actually had people questioning whether it was Women’s Day or Zuma’s Day.
@QUESTIONTIME24 nothing will ever happen if Bathabile Dlamini today sang praises 4 her boss instead of addressing women issues

2. Poor Mr President
She tried to gain support and sympathy for Zuma by saying he has been tortured and persecuted.

We would hardly call the vote of no confidence “torture” and “persecution”.
Remember all the drama that happened with the South African Security Social Agency?
It was alleged Dlamini was to blame for millions of people not receiving their grants in April this year.
But she is still here thanks to Zuma.
If we had ethical leadership and good governance Bathabile Dlamini should’ve been fired because of the shenanigans at #Sassa.

4. Zuma Vote
It seems as if she was happier than the president himself when Zuma survived yet another vote of no confidence.

5. Dem feels
And then there is this picture.
Don’t tell us you can’t see the heat between them.
I just want someone who will have my back the way Bathabile Dlamini has Jacob Zuma’s back… That’s loyalty. pic.twitter.com/32H7Y9cyVw
